How to Keep Farm Fresh Milk Fresh for Longer

Refrigerate milk as soon as it arrives. The back of a fridge shelf is colder and steadier than the door, where temperature changes each time it is opened.

Pour out only what you need and put the rest straight back. Always use a clean vessel, and never return leftover milk to the original container.

Use it within the time shown on the pack. If it smells or tastes sour, it is best not to drink it.
